Overview of the Self++ Mentorship Program
The Self++ Mentorship Program empowers youth with a disability between 15 and 25 to achieve independence in different areas of their life:
- Accommodation Advice
- Personal Mentoring
- Work Assistance
- Budgeting Help
- Social Access
The main benefit of our program is a lower rate of dependence and a higher quality of life for participants. There is also the opportunity for participants to meet new, like-minded new friends online in a safe environment.
Supports may be funded via the NDIS plan or through fee for service.
Our Mentors
Self++ mentors have a wealth of experience in the areas they provide support in. Each mentor goes through a thorough screening process and also receives ongoing training and support to enable them to provide the highest level of service.
Support Options
Self++ has several different options for providing support:
- One-on-one Sessions
- Group Sessions
- Remote and Face-to-Face
- Online Support Networks
- Email or Telephone Assistance
It’s your choice what support options you use.
