CB Social Community and Civic Participation is to pay for support to help you build on your skills to better access your community. This may also include funding for a mentor or therapist to assist with learning skills for independence within the community.
This category of funding can be used to pay for tuition fees, art classes, sports coaching and other similar activities that build your skills and independence. You can use this category to pay for camps, classes and vacation activities that have capacity-building components. Activity based transport can also be included.
Self Plus Plus is a national organisation that supports increased social and community participation for people with disabilities. We work with individuals, families, government and disability sector organisations to create opportunities for people to participate in their community.
